VIP tickets offer an elevated Illume experience, beginning with exclusive early access to a rooftop cocktail hour at 5:30 PM. During this intimate hour, guests will enjoy a thoughtfully curated selection of premium amenities, including a stunning charcuterie presentation by Son of a Butcher and a guided wine tasting led by VIP host Andrew Brim.
With nearly two decades in Birmingham’s wine scene—from the celebrated cellars of Highlands Bar & Grill and Chez Fonfon to his work with beloved local retailers—Andrew brings both expertise and personality to every pour. Described by Food & Wine Magazine as “articulate and lively,” he transforms wine tasting into an engaging, approachable experience, perfect for seasoned collectors and casual enthusiasts alike.
As part of this elevated experience, guests will be immersed in live entertainment by Candice “Pretty Stringz” Smith, a globally acclaimed violinist based in Atlanta, GA. Known for her electrifying performances and soul-stirring melodies, Candice transforms every stage she graces into an unforgettable experience.
Adding to the ambiance, Birmingham artist Julie Tucker will be creating live illustrations throughout the VIP Hour, capturing the style and spirit of the evening’s guests in real time. Her elegant, fashion-inspired work offers a unique and personal element—an experience guests won’t soon forget.
Following the VIP Hour, guests will enjoy early entry into the main event, an unforgettable evening of celebration and purpose. Illume is a night of hope and compassion, bringing the community together to support women and families experiencing homelessness.
Guests are encouraged to dress in their favorite modern cocktail attire and enjoy an elegant rooftop atmosphere featuring local celebrity bartenders serving specialty Tito’s Vodka cocktails, alongside beer, wine, and heavy hors d’oeuvres by Olexa’s Cafe.
